Sunday was EPIC, just like summer trails.

Got there at 9.30 and no one around I knew, until I saw whippet Tim, (orange steed). who was waiting around for his Orange buddies.

So we set off and had a fanstastic ride around heading in a zig zag towards pole hill and turned back and headed towards North side on bone dry trails, but with lots of dropped leaves in numerous places. Not sure what it will be like once the leaves get wet ,but was truly memorable for October. Get it while you can , rain on its way. Doubt conditions will be that good again until next year!

Set out to meet you but the back wheel was playing up and getting worse so turned back midway.

Same thing happened to me last year, no one turned up so went out with Tim, was one of the best rides that year.

The conditions were shit and pretty slippy compared to the last few weeks.

I got there about 9.45 an only saw roadies, it was packed so had to park further down the road. Conditions were really good though for the time of year I was surprised.

Yes shame mate, but had a problem with the bearings in the back wheel which had a cm of movement in it. Not very confidence inspiring when jumping but didnt want to mess other parts up.

Rainined overnight here but north epping must have missed out. Was up there today and was still running well, dry and not much mud around. Its like a dessert comapared to surrey hills though ;)

See ya another time mate.

Lol.

Went expecting dry and dusty trails but heavy rain ovrnight meant it was very slippy on pitch and winterfold earlier this week.

next weekend? this one looks like a washout, 26mm of rain forecast in dorking on saturday.
