Just been having a look on the website, it says nothing about what time practise is but i assume as it opens at 08:30 for registration its form then until the first race?(...)

I sent an email inquiring about the practice lap times and they replied saying that it'll be ok after 9am.

CXan't wait!! Shall we start now to take some advantage?

LOL I have been pondering tyres, i dont want to make a hasty change as my mountain kings are set up tubeless, but i may change the rear to a faster rolling Crossmark but they are leathal over roots, which apperently there are lots of?

for a fun race for me my mind is taking this far too seriously?

On another note, i feel far better today than yesterday, so hopefully by sunday i'll be ok?

When was last time you've ridden? If it was Sunday do a short and fast spin tomorrow to wake your legs up. For carbs loading I wouldn't bother much, just 1 day before the race (it's only 2 hours)

I'm going with Mountain kings but I might swap the rear for Racing Ralphs. I think you aren't going far too seriously. Just as normal

Yeah hopefully do a quick spin tomorrow as work arrangements have changed. I could put a race king on the back but I think the knobs may be a bit too close together if its slippy?

Don't think it'll be slippery. Take tyres with you and ask everyone and everytwo the course conditions. You'll see the riders, anyway. Are you going rear tubeless? Then, more difficult to guess. Maybe you can find information the day before the race in other bike forums

Don't forget to get the correct suspension sag and air in the forks... Or just loosen those jubilee clips Ian... ;-) ;-)

You're right Jamie didn't notice them, keeping the mountain kings on unless it turns out to be concrete lol

It's 7 or 8 miles course so I'd like to do half practice lap, no more :p
Don't know yet what time we'll get there, though.
