After a crash at Chicksands has left my rear wheel looking more like a pringle, im in need of a new wheel!

Im well aware that you can have the best components but if laced together by a crap wheel builder then its prob next to useless, any one here recommend a builder?

Looking for advice on what wheel/rim combo to go for too.

Could stick with the proven Mavic or go for a new Spank rim.

I'm having my front rebuilt by SPOKES in epping next week.
i have had wheels trued and repaired by them in the past and they have been perfect.
he charges about £45 a wheel to build with you supplying the parts

£45 is quite a lot for a wheel build. We normally do builds £48 including halo spokes per wheel.

Yeah. Stanley bridge cycles in Waltham Abbey. We do a fair bit of wheel building as we are more reasonable that most.

Ok, soo based on my original post, how much would that cost then?
Or would I have to get the rim and hub to you?
How long would it take? I'd like to beable to ride next weekend so looking for a quick turnaround.
