Aiming to head out for the regular Thursday night ride in Epping. As always, open invite to anyone who's keen and will adjust the pace appropriately to suit whoever comes out.

Meet: Stubbles Car Park

Car park is at the T-junction of Nursery Road and Connaught Avenue

Ride Time: 8:15pm

Not sure where you're coming from but the start is only 5 mins ride from Loughton tube station (on central line)

We're normally out for between an hour and an hour and a half but depends a bit on the conditions at this time of year!

I'm no fair weather rider, but i do draw the line at 'Severe Weather Warnings' !

Looks like we have some serious weather due later, i might just do my local route when i get home at 6 rather than wait for the storm

Yes - but won't be a long one - did a couple of hours trail riding at Woburn earlier today

Good ride out tonight with the first flurries of snow!! Still a few dry patches but noticeably soggier than last week

Matt - hope you enjoyed it - even with your summer hard pack tyres!!

Yes I did enjoy it very much, a swap of tyres for next week is in order , thanks for the reasonable pace give me a few more weeks at it and I should be able to step it up a gear...

I ended up running out of time and decided to just do a local ride.

Solo night rides really challenge the nerves a bit. :lol:

I got the madusas on for the first time and they pretty good. We should get a mud tyre preference thread going?
