Hello mate.. im sure your aware that there is not a lot in the SE which is "really" technical by scotland standards but that doesnt mean that we don't have fun trails
. Most of the technical stuff is reserved for the DH boys and as such is short and sweet.
Epping is indeed a maze and even in the current conditions can be a good blast if your out with a group that knows its way round. keep an an eye out here
http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/mountain-bike-rides/ for rides out. Aston will allow you to cut together technical loops but they will be pretty short. The N downs offer the best riding this time of year but is a good hour away.
