Only a friendly bit of banter no harm was intended.

Whenever rides go out no one is left behind, always a guide rider at front and one at back who knows the route...

Sarah, I think if you have a bit of a read through the forum you'll see that humour plays a healthy part of the group riding gatherings and chat on here.

It's all harmless and said in jest :)

Guys - one of the reasons I was looking to join a club was because I currently don't feel safe as a girl on her own in the woods.

Have to say you don't instil much confidence in me to join you with this kind of chat..... :(
Sarah it`s easy to read to much into this as you have never met the guys, However now you have brought this to light im sure the guys will be dissappointed they made you think this way. YOU as any female re age colour race religion will ALWAYS be welcomed on this forum and honestly you have nothing to fear.

I second that.

We are all very honest and friendly people, we welcome anyone who likes a good ol fashioned ride and you'll see that when you come out on a cold and foggy Sunday morning..

I'll be out Sunday again, hitting those jumps and berms faster then last week.

Ok guys, I'll come along, despite my flatmate's worried face :)

Maybe some other girls might join in anyway?

You have nothing to worry about Sarah, everyone on here is good as gold. Yes we have a laugh and take the micky a bit but end of the day all on here are genuine and will go out of there way to help you with your MTB'ing. No one will leave you behind just go have fun..

Can anyone help me with getting to the meeting spot i.e. which road is that car park off? I've not been there before so wouldn't really know how to get to the hut.

Is that the same car park where the visitor centre is? Not the Queen Elizabeth one and not the Temple.....

Thanks...

The links in the Riding Spots page show you where it is, including a street view look at it, so you'll recognise it as you drive past. Might want to use the Kings Oak Hotel postcode in the satnav if you need it,

try this. High Beach is top carpark. You can see the T hut in the middle of the picture. we park 50 metres to the left of it.. (as you look at the map).

Over the road from the Kings oak pub...
