Late decision last night with Dazer to go to Bedgebury today and well pleased I did. conditions were a 100 percent improvement on last time . Met just over the bridge at 10.15, took a gentle stroll parked up and got the bikes ready etc and pootled off. Started the first section at 11.55 and finished at
around 1.45 after going back a couple of times to ride the last two sections. Finished off with a Tea/coke/ hotdog and a chat, back to the cars bikes in/on and off home. I think a day out in the summer will be great, not to far, pretty good facilities, course can be ridden by pretty much anybody as nothing to fear so yeah why not. :)

I went over there on saturday for the first time, meet the locals in the car park for their usual saturday ride and they showed me round. pretty impressed, nothing to challenging, nice cafe there, excellent idea the bike wash, i needed it, the trails were pretty good but the bits getting between some of the runs were swamped. the £8.50 car-park charge didn't seem to bad after all.
i was talking to the guy that runs the forest cycle club and you can get an annual membership for £65 that entitles you to free car-parking and bike wash, i done £10 on the two on saturday so only have to visit 7 times a year to make it worth while and the money goes to the club who use it to develop the trails. gonna sign up for this i thinks.

Me and Dazer was talking about the £65 membership could be worth it , certainly thinking about it.

Me and the mrs went on Saturday. We had a great time, I have only been in summer so it was an eye opener how much more energy is required in the mud. I got a puncher in the deepest mud i could find, which was messy!

Looking forward to joining you guys on a ride soon
