Hey guys, thought I'd post a quick intro here - rode Thorndon a bit on my own last year... Thinking of starting again soon - Some days I'll be riding from upminster up through warley gap to work at Ford then after work go for a blast down the gap then round Thorndon.... Be good to meet some of you guys for a ride sometime...

Nice cant beat riding downhill after work every day! there are a few different ways from fords to upminster, taking in as much trails as possible both sides of the m25....

The ride home as a joy, and very fast

Be good to know better routes though as I either go down Warley Gap, then left past the golf course across into Thordon and down to the halfway house then road through West Hordon to Upminster, or just Warley Gap then B186 to Upminster... Problem is any time after 5 those roads are not nice...... Blinkered drivers trying to get home as fast as possible!

I get home from work 415ish and live in Brentwood town so always give me a shout for a ride straight away, if not meet up on the usall sunday ride. Welcome to the site

I work in brentwood and take my bike so when the weather starts to get a bit better will be riding through thorndon on the way home to basildon so yeah give me a shout and ill meet you at the gap for a ride.
