I ride DH during the summer and am keen to stay (cycle) active during the winter, and get some use out of my all mountain bike during the winter months.
If you know Epping well enough (or anywhere else local) to lead on a lively 10-20KM loop (and have correct lights) or fancy hitiing the XC loop at Aston after work, please drop me a line.

Yo - if the freeze persists I should be out for a bit of a night spin sometime this week round epping - its a bugger to navigate in the dark with all the leaves but that just adds to the fun.

I'm aiming to do an Epping Forest night ride on either Thursday (most likely) or Wednesday this week.

Happy to meet up but I need a no-earlier-than 7.30pm start from the Stubles car park.

I am waiting for my lights to arrive. (dont think they will until the end of the week) so will have to swerve it this week. Am definately up for for the night riding when they do turn up. Will post a note the second they do and hope to get a ride sorted!!

Hello mate - we didn't hang round to long as it was bonkers cold. We headed off about 7.35 - hope we didn't miss you. Will be out on the DH bike on Sunday so wont be around Epping - if you make it out the conditions are muchos fun.

Fun ride today - hard work pedaling in the POW but where it was hard and icy it was wicked fun.... quite surreal at night too with all the snow.
