Hi - I'm heading down from N Yorks to volunteer at the Olympics - looking for some local advice on somewhere to camp / stay near(ish) to the venue (I'll have a bike with me so as long as it's within 10 miles or so that would be fine)?

Alternatively if anyone knows someone (ideally non-psychopathic!) with a spare room they like to rent out I'd be really interested.

I may have a room over the Olympics, Ive got a friend moving in today as my new fltamte but pl;ace maybe free come summer..who knows !
