Here we go a bit more of the build to add. I've decided after a lot of to-ing and throwing to go for the 2x10 set up, so i won a saint crank on flea bay but in my ignorance i bought the wrong crank :x I bought the 810-1 single ring crank, and those of you who know the holes which would be to fit the little ring are'nt threaded and no mounts which the 810-2 has. So now i have to improvise and out comes the Tap and Die set to tap the M8 thead, the mounts can be over come with spacers (I think the spacing is 5.6mm? correct me if im wrong)

No thread or ring mounts

Tapping the Thread

And an out of focus Thread (crap BlackBerry camera)

And it works :D

And some more parts

Medium cage (Totally Sexy)

Hope mono M4 brakes with braded hoses

Image

Handle bars 680mm 20mm riser and hope spacers

Saint BB, Stinger Chain Device and Chain

And a sneak preview of how its starting to look

I showed a tripple ring set in a previous pic, this is when i was going 3x10 so now i have the option to change if i dont get on with the 2x10. I have a pair of XTR shifters on their way also won of flea bay which have the bonus of being able to flick between double or triple ring set up with a flick of a switch 8)

Now waiting on front Derailuer, 2 rings, shifters, Bash guard and wheels, wheels are gona take about 3 weeks :(

Few more bits have arrives

Blackspire rings 40T and 26T I wanted both rings to be gold but couldnt find a gold 40T ring anywhere so ws forced to get the black, im not too bothered as most of it will be covered by the bash guard (when ever that arrives  ), and its only the small one that will show. I might keep an eye out in the future for a gold 40T ring.

Caliper Bracket to allow me to fit the 180mm rear disk

Image

XTR shifters as new won off ebay. Think i will fit Matchmaker clamps though.
XT Cassette 11T-36T (Couldnt justify or afford the sky high price of the XTR Cassette and 36T to help me with those dreaded hill climbs im allergic to, and the fact i've not manned up enough yet :D )
