I am looking at getting my first lid, been looking at the 661 recon and the giro hex
my head measures 58cm so i should be a medium in either, do they normally fit pretty well and is the sizing accurate?
evans looks cheapest for the hex at 50 squid, and the recon i have found online for 63
any others that are cheaper that you can recommend?
thanks for any advice my friends

All lids are shaped slightly different.. If you can try a few on before you buy that's best practice but saying that I ordered my Fox V3R full face of the net and it's spot on..

I have a MASSIVE head!

It measures 63cm around, but an XL 661 doesn't fit :(

Got a Giro Remedy which fits nice :)

EDIT: This is for full face helmets, ignore me :p

661 recon and the giro hex are both good lids. I run the hex and for the money it does everythign I need. Fit is very personal .. i take an xl ff and a medium trail due to my massive cheeks... har har
