Evans will pricematch certain online shops, but you need to print the web page out: http://www.evanscycles.com/help/price-match

I use a website called next day tyres, massive choice, excellent customer service and you get them the next day aswell.

I've found some of the German on-line stores to be good for tyres (especially if you want contis or schwalbe):

Some local bike shops will price match. and if it costs you a pound or 2 more I would still try support local.

what tyres do you need?
