Right, I've been doing a bit of investigating and homework, and im seriously thinking of starting up doing a suspension overhaul / general maintenance service.
Still have to work out costings, but I can deffo say it won't be shop prices.

Oh, and don't think I'm just some bloke who's going to "have a go", I'm a fully qualified master technician, and work on tjings that are slightly more elaborate than a pair of forks, LOL.

Anyway, just metering interest st the mo ;)

After my recent steep learning curve, I'd guess your services might be of value.. Especially if you're local as people wouldn't need to post stuff away, etc...

That's my thinking, the cost of postage, and the obvious shop addon costs all add to your bill, I'd be working from home in my spare time, etc, and really will only need to cover materials and labour.
Initially ill start with just the general services, like Fox's 30 hour service, but eventually, if things pick up, I would move onto the more in depth side of things. This is also true with brands, I'd start with Fox and Rock Shox, and move onto the others as I become more familiar. ;)

The 3 way loses air from the platform(lower)side every ride.

Sounds a great idea especially as your just over a mile away as the crow files!
I was gonna have a go at mine myself till I priced up the tools.
So there's a fox RP24 set of forks and RP23 rear shock when your ready.
I take it you are a " master technician" in cycle maintenance and not photocopier repair?

Quoted £150 from evans for service of forks and rear shock so if your cheaper than this then I've got fox forks and rear shock with your name on them

I'm a vehicle master technician, so to speak... actually bit more specialised than that.
I've downloaded quite a few service manuals for the fox stuff, and it looks pretty straight forward. Just need to buy some float fluid, shock oils and specified greases and ill be away. ;)
