Am looking to do a biggish c. 50k+ Epping top-to-bottom ride on Friday afternoon from c. 1.30pm onwards

Broadly thinking the route will be to start at Stubbles Car Park at Loughton - head up to High Beech, north to Epping and beyond, back to High Beech, down to Whips X and back to Loughton - taking in all the best bits of single track.

Happy for anyone to join me for all or bits of this - let me know.

cheers

Northern

Trying to build up my fitness for the summer so went for an epping Epic this afternoon and learnt that:

71.6km
+
529m of climbing
+
4hrs 55 of riding
=
a knackered northern

Route details here:

http://app.strava.com/runs/72kilometers-6294173?ref=1MT1yaWRlX3NoYXJlOzI9ZW1haWw7ND0zNzI2ODE%253D

Obviously with Strava - the challenge is on for who can do this route quicker!

Bit disappointed with my Bury Rd to Pole Hill time - but in my defence - I had done a fair few KMs by then!

Epping's running super well at the moment - pretty much dry everywhere - anyone out over the w/e is going to have a blast!!

The stuff North of Epping is super fun - mainly single track - but I've mentally filed it as 'dry weather' only as suspect it would be a bit draggy in the wet- but well worth heading up there when conditions are like they are now

fyi. the best bit of trail runs alongside the Epping-Ongar railway - top quality single track fun!!
