After putting the bike back together, i noticed that when i pulled the front brake leaver, it was a little squeaky and seemed stiff, does it need bleeding?

Any advice will be much appreciated

My advice is if you pull it and you stop - ignore it - i am sure it will sort itself out (i have never done a thing to my hope brakes one set i have owned for over 5 years)

Was the lever stiff? I had some mad squeaking recently which turned out to be the little pad spring had broken in the calliper. As Evil said if it all looks ok externally (ie you haven't kinked the hose) and it stops you dont worry about it.

Yes the leaver was stiff, but the squeaking also comes from the leaver, and it doesn't feel as smooth as it should . But I shall just leave it and see what happens

After all there are plenty of trees to use as brakes

This happened to me with my m4's, it was the small brass thing in the leaver. pop it out and give in an oil/clean.
