Time to resurrect this thread.

I am looking for a medium/large 160mm AM bike to take to NZ. Looking for under £2500 and preferably with shimano finishing kit (not too bothered by this as I can always swap it over).

I also needs to be available now (no waiting for Canyon to deliver) as it will go in a container in 3 weeks time!

Unfortunately myspokes are out of the enduro evo whyteboy got such a good deal on otehrwise I would have got that.

I am currently tempted by the nukeproof mega AM comp.

Any suggestions out there?

I think the nukeproof appears a better deal than either - especially in terms of the shocks.

Still got a hankering for a nomad and if anyone fancies sourcing me a 2nd hand large that would be awesome. I am too pushed for time with all the other stuff that has to be done for a move around the world!

Tis nice looking but £2.5k for what cosmetically at least is a bashed up machine. And certainly would need a clean to get it through NZ MAF

Keep going Site Admin, I like your thinking so far!

The 2011 lapierre looks good.

I have ordered the norco in to the evans near my work for a lunch time test ride next week. Fancy joining me site admin?

Not yet, Evans being their usual efficient selves. I have also contacted the kiwis about a cut price nomad!

Looking at a slightly bigger bike than that, think fox 36s rather than fox 32s
