Am looking to get myself an air compressor and presta attachment to aid assembling tubeless tyres. Hope to pick one up on ebay. Anyone got one or any good advice on what to look out for. Don't want some massive great thing but then again, don't want it to be under powered.

I've got a Clarkes Bandit - cheap - think it was c£75 a few years ago from Machinemart - nice & compact and does the job with tubeless just fine but unfortunately don't think they make them any more but something with similar terms of capacity / power would see you right if you decide to go down the compressor route

I've got & would recommend one of these though to go with it:

Cheers guys. Tried with a track pump. It almost worked.. But not quite enough pressure. Iv'e since read it depends on lots of variables. Some combos work, some don't.

I have a power craft one from Lidl don't no if they still do them but it's superb for the money, was about £60 I also got there rattle gun and air drill. Got it all from upminster. Only thing I've changed was to get a 50 foot rubber air line for working out doors and leaving the comp in garage :)

That sounds just the job. Do you have a model no.? What about the actual attachment? Did anything come with it that would inflate presta? I assume you have to buy that separately?

This looks the business:

It's model WW 270/08. 8 bar 120psi it's a twin outlet so can run 2 lines at once..

Didnt come with any attachments, you can buy an inflater for about £15 but I had one already. They don't fit presta so need the adaptor
