There's a few of us meeting at the Warley/Brentwood go kart track for around 10am, rain or shine, so if anyone wants to come along, more than welcome.

I usual weave my through from Thorndon North to South, with couple of little stream crossings thrown in, and then stop at Thorndon south tea room for a chat & a cuppa, then ride out to Herongate, small road ride, and then cut back into Thorndon North and through back to the kart track

This isn't a race or XC thrash, steady pace for all to enjoy

Hi Nick, sorry we couldnt keep up today, be good to hook up with you boys again as I really enjoyed the first part of the ride, hopefully the conditions won't be as bad for us, beginners next time!! We did manage to have a good ride but enjoyed the pack

Steve... If you wanted we can organise a ride for just beginners, and take you to some of the off the beaten track trails.... I've got a couple of friends that don't ride properly that want to come out as well.

Was good to meet up today, really sorry we couldn't keep up (it was nothing to do with Stevefox), would defo like to meet up again at some point.

Seriously, not a problem dude.... Like I said, we'll organise getting out together and riding some trails, and teach the beginners some key skills

We should look at doing an 'Intro to the area' type rides for those not used to the area or ride location and new to mtb riding.....

Saves whizzy off and not getting to know a place.... Not nice sometimes being a tail end Charlie :wtf:

LOL i'm 18 stone and quite used to being a tail end Charlie!!

The good thing about being the last one is no one is about to laugh when you fall off
not that i fall off much...... ok i might do a fair bit but being a porker i bounce quite well
