Privately owned forest in North Wales with
blue / red / black / extreme trails plus a freeride trail and a skills area plus pump track.

More details here:
http://www.coedllandegla.com/Home
http://www.oneplanetadventure.com/

trail info
http://www.coedllandegla.com/Mountain_Bike_Trails

Post up (by Wednesday night) if ya interested or want to ride here.
Will probably be there friday too if anyones keen.

Highly recommend this place, best trail centre Ive been to. The trails are armoured (except one jump line) so run well in the wet. Enough riding at this place to warrant staying over and making two days if you dont want a long drive.

:D

I noticed that one of the Extreme Channel - Mountain Bike Guides episode was near there and looked impressive, even the riders/presenters who live in Whilstler/BC were impressed.

Literally just rode it on Sunday with a few mates of mine from the area.

They have a couple of new sections on the black run towards the bottom of the trail which are brilliant. Pretty fast if you want them to be and you can get some decent air.

I rode the Marin trail on the saturday and this was by far the more enjoyable trail. Still bloody hard on the quads mind!

Have Fun!

Fp, saturday lunchtime is good, cant do sunday as uplifting at cwmcarn :)

Probably the best bet maybe to meet in the 2nd carpark up, (the first overflow one) then if theres any delays or problems can play in the skills area for a bit.

12.30 for a 1PM start?

SiG60, marin better than llandegla? Was gonna try the penmachno trail so might swap to this, did you ride that one?
Yes black bits are good, had mud tyres on HT last time so the woodwork was sketchy. Was seriously windy last time (all trails were closed the day before cos of fallen trees) so missed the 12ft raised wooden bit, the b-line and the jump trail diversion (on black descent) last time. out as well. Was the freeride area open?

vw, you get a pass?

Sorry to read about your Dad VW. Not a lot to say to that. Hopefully a bit of biking will do some good.

Ah man sorry to hear that. All the best vw.

Beardee, I have only done the Marin and llandegla both twice. I have heard a lot of people slate the llandegla trail. I don't really know why. I would say its not as challenging as the Marin in terms of technical downhill skill but is just a better laid out trail and more fun in my opinion.

The Marin is a lot more rocky.

Yeah everything is open. It actually snowed up there on Sunday. Couldn't believe it! Ha. However the trail is in great condition. Yeah watch out for the steep drop at the end of one of the wooden bits. Forgot about it and nearly went flying over my bars!

Have a good one. I would have gone up again with you guys but have got something else on this weekend unfortunately.
