Im would be very interested in going, I would rather a B&B if only for a warm shower / bath after a long ride.

I have access to vans also so happy to work something out with others.

Most people are up for camping so we will go for this but I'm sure you will be able to get a b&b nearby.

My older brother is a may be, hes cameing wales with me the end of the month and if he like it will be back for more. He would be coming from Barnsley so no need to include him in transport arrangements

Right been looking into this and have a plan below which we all need to confirm we are happy with before booking camping etc.

Friday 13th - travel to Afan Forest Park in the morning (approx 3 and a half hours) and get a days riding there. They have their own campsite
so plan is to stay the night.
Sat 14th - earlyish start to travel up to Coed-y-Brenin (approx 2 and a half hours) and get a full days riding, as this seems to be the best
centre in Wales with the biggest choice of trails. Theres also a number of campsites around the area so spend the night here.
Sun 15th - Short drive to Coed Llandegla (less than an hour) for more riding before driving home from there (approx 4 hours)

This makes the most sense to me as will be travelling from South to North Wales taking in what seem to be the best centres in Wales but if anyone has any other suggestions then post up and see what everyone else thinks.

Need to get on this quick to book the campsites, as the areas we are going are popular, as is July.

You'll be lucky getting to Afan in 3 1/2 hours.. more like 4 1/2?

Sounds good to me, might be worth asking some one whos been to all the above centres to check if there all worth riding as would be a shame to leave say Coed-y-Brenin on our last day only to wish we had stayed there for the last ride..

Beardee or Damo maybe the ones to ask or shouldgetoutmore was there a few weeks back ?

im happy to go with the flow though, i agree camping is the way forward will save a lot of dosh plus be a good laugh and get to meet other like minded (nuters) people :)
