Hello everybody, im new to the site, but have been riding Danbury a few months now, on my schwinn straight 8. yesterday i had an unfortunate ride and ended up with a dislocated knee. i would like to say a big thankyou to all those who helped get me out etc and thanks to Festa and the boys from essexhertsmtb for making me laugh (ouch) and sorting things out for me. Hello Alex, good to see your able to type after all the morphine and gas coz yesterday you couldnt remember your phone number lol glad your feeling better mate and hope to catch up with you some time. theres always rides on here all over the place especially XC if you do any of that plus always people willing to help out with stuff..

when i got home with your bike im sure my Mrs thought i bought it on the sly and was making up a story about how i came to have it, however she was a bit miffed as to why i had one shoe tied to the bars lol

Have to wait and see what the doc says tomorrow because of difficulties putting it back, I'm just glad it's straight again :) :thumbup:

Welsome + heal up fast buddy. Where abouts @ Danbury did you do it. That place has the most breaks and big stacks out of all the local venues for some reason.

I would not trust your bike with Festa. He'll be taking pictures of it leaning against trees, ;-)

Jocking aside, heal up soon fella all will be ok.... All mtb'ers unite when a fellow rider goes down... Best keep the air ambulance on speed dial now :)

Cheers fellas, lol my so called check up has taken a turn for the worse, sent me for an MRI then get admitted, then they say I need surgery few hours later I don't, haven't got a clue what's going on, what a day to spend me birthday :) :wtf:
