Have a good read up on what you have to pay the various rates on in advance. We imported some odd things last year (that could have been liable for anywhere between 0% and 20% tax depending on how you looked at them), the guy at customs was really helpful and very amenable, we explained what they were, and he found something to classify them as which meant nothing needed to be paid :)

I'm sure it varies hugely, and I have no idea where you stand with bike parts, it looks like they've already decided you need to pay, be prepared for it to be 20%, and anything less is a bonus!

Let us know how it goes, fingers crossed!

Just been and picked her up at our friends parcel force after our friends the Tax man decided i needed to pay for the delight of her presence.

Two things, 1 she's not gloss she's mat, 2 She's BB30 not threaded .
Not a major issue but i wanted matching bikes and to use a normal BB, nevermind.

So here's some pictures

The Forks are scarily light, carbon steerer tube too

cant weigh the forks with my scales but the frame is 1250g which feels very light.

So onwards to the build!

Nice! So how much lighter did your wallet get after the extra tax?

Looks lovely (especially in the matt finish I think).

Have you decided on what bits you'll be using or will we have to wait and see :D

Cool, not seen one of those before, how's it fit into the BB shell?

You'll have to resist the urge not to put it all together ASAP like I did - despite saying to myself it would be a long build project :D

Sweet looking frame BTW, I'll be watching this with interest.
