What that grinding noise & chain keep coming off :evil:

That was hard work I did practices lap and two laps hills would have been p!ss easy in dry did see lots of off.
Last month did 193 mile for this race must do more core work to stop back hurting.

Just waiting for times and photos now.

Good course this year and more hills and mud mud mud just a shame my rear mech never liked it...

Good job by all in the conditions today... Laser looked like he had been land surfing in the mud at the finish :-)

I have no bottom jockey wheel and just spent 2 hours trying to clean the grit from every orifice on my bike. Had a puncture near the end of the practice lap so ran off to change tubes then couldn't see you lot at the start and didn't see you for the whole race apart from chatman taking pictures. The rock garden bit near the end of the lap was good, catching lots of people out (one guy went straight over the bars in front of me, no idea how he didn't do himself a serious injury). Started getting a little cramp in my legs half way through the last lap but managed to hold it off with some isogel and pass two more people. Despite the weather and needed new legs I really enjoyed this, having never done a 'proper' race before. Cheers to every for encouraging me to give it a go, might even give Ickworth house a go.

It's a must Rob... I'm deffo doing round 5.

I had a fairly good race, fitness is still an issue but happy considering I've only been back on the bike 5 months.
The course was hard, but loved it, just the conditions werent the best, but everyone was in the same boat, so just git on with it

Overall.... Good day, and another great race event
