Hi all,

Guy, going on 47, living in Brentwood. Lots of experience, but too old, unfit and breakable for any sort of stuff where race kit, body armour or a full face helmet might be appropriate. The relaxed group I used to ride with seems to have died out during a long health-related absence, so I'm vaguely casting around for new riding buddies. Riding on your own all the time gets boring.

I mostly ride round Brentwood and South Essex, but have been known to get my jollies in places such as Bedgebury, South Downs, North Downs, Swinley... Am curious about other places. Can give (and receive) lifts....

No. not a Thorndon-based group. More associated with a local bike club.

As Ian says, we all ride the likes of Thorndon, Langdon, Epping, etc, etc..... So just keep an eye out in the riding section (especially just before weekends) and stick your neck out and come join a ride. We're all chilled and approachable people, so dont worry about being a spare part either
