Would have liked to do a skills course, but I left the credit card with the wife and she's now gone and brought a load of bedroom furniture and wardrobes... I ain't off work until end of August so the boxes will have to stay on the living room floor for now hahahahahah

Might be interested, jumps and drops not really my thing, but maybe part of that is a lack of confidence too. My bike is XC HT though, is that suitable?

Would be well up for that Nick, like laser- bunnyhops and manuals - can get the front wheel up but then drop it back hard straight away.
I wont attempt any sort of step down much bigger than a kurb as i expect the result to be a face full of dirt because of this.

Go out and learn to wheelie, pop a wheelie at every opportunity, when you find the sweet spot on your bike you'll know how much to lift etc! And you'll be surprised how far up the sweet spot is
