Right chaps ill call up the place with the lodges tomoz and see what the score is..

im thinking

option A

Day 1 Friday head straight to Afan ride there in the afternoon and stay over night in the lodges.

Day 2 Saturday, spend the day at Afan and stay the night at Afan and head to cwmcarn first thing in the morn

Day 3 early start to cwmcarn ride there for the day and head straight home from there about 3-4pm

Option 2 as above but Saturday late afternoon leave Afan and head to Cwmcarn and stay there the night (subject to finding some were to stay) and ride there first thing in morning then head home 3-4pm.

Option 3 someone else comes up with other (better) options/ideas :)

im seriously considering taking the DH bike as with the seat right up i think i could ride it up the trails and then mucho more fun coming down..

also the guys that bought my old bike the other day live next to Afan, they said they would meet up with us when we are there and theres some forest and trails they use and have built some runs etc that are off the radar..

let me know what you think about the options, im happy to go with the majority on where we go and stay..
