Yeah sounds spot on, i should have got a 36 as the 38 is causing rubbing issues so running the original 32 for now. i have 11-36 on the back already :)

Were does your spacer sit then, on the outer face of the BB between there and the face of the crank arm? on the zesty the BB is a push fit so not sure i can do it the same way..

No i got the spacer between stinger and BB in other words when i screw the BB in it will tighten up against the spacer

thought so mate, wont work on a zesty as press fit internal BB. im gonna stick with the original 32 ring for a bit then prob just pick up a 34 which will give me the extra clearance...

Hi thanks for providing the guide on fitting. Just one question- I have mine set up the the same as you have ( dual ring on a spicy) when running on the granny ring my chain runs on top of the small wheel on the stinger ( the flat part) rather than in the grove ( runs in the groove on the middle ring) is this how yours works also or have I set it up wrong?

Cheers

That's how they're supposed to run, odd eh?
The larger diameter of the outer part of the jockey wheel takes up the chain slack made by the smaller granny ring

It doesn't matter what you ride

Just looking at mine and it runs in the groove on both rings.

maybe to do with the spacing between the ring and face of the stinger, theres washers supplied to adjust it.
if you look on the first page were in fitting the stinger you can see me taking a measurement think it needs to be between 4-6mm.
