Do you have to double shift to move one gear? That really shouldn't be working!

Well guys managed to get out on the bike this arvo and all was sweet for 10 mins until i had to start double clicking up down left right and so on,not a happy ride hahahaha
so you are all bang on, they don't work together very well..........
i'm gonna get a new sram shifter now but have to get the cheapest one because i'm skint.
so looks like 2 wkends no riding (come on the lottery)

If you want you can borrow my sram shifter until you buy a new one, as its on my hardtail and im not using it atm

Let me double check the condition, but i have a spare SRAM shifter at home that was kindly donated to me by Tim on here. Its been replaced with a new one, so I'm sure he won't mind it being passed on help someone else.

Cheers very much for the offer guys very kind but have ordered an SRAM x5 trigger shifter it's cheap but should do the job?? i only need the bike for 6 more weeks then i'm away for 6 months.
hope it gets here super quick!!!

Well I've checked and it works fine - an X7 trigger. If you need it, it's yours.

Nice one cheers trax but finally my x5 shifters turned up today and on and working perfect it's much better quality and heavy duty than i thought. so coed y brenin here i come for the wkend.
thanks all again for your help. will have to meet up with ya all for a ride in feb.
