The local stores that sell leatt braces don't keep them in stock and only order them in if you are going to 100% buy.
I am going to head over to Descent-gear in a few weeks as they stock every single model of leatt and will have ride Kinver freeride park while im there.

Bradley go have a chat with Justin or Colin at Online Bikes. They are very chilled and often get stuff in for me with no obligations to purchase.

I had a chat with colin a couple of weeks ago and he said that they can't order any leatt products in unless I am going to buy them as they can't return them.

Wouldn't mind trying that one day to see if it fits with my armour.

Yeah no probs,
well compared with the alpinestar, it is damn light.

I have just ordered new padding which is 5mm lower profile than stock padding (oh, and its green and pink)

Im still not 100% sure whether I will run just the brace alone, or with body armour. I know with 661 they have the removable spine-plate, so taking that out should allow the brace to sit fine. But, if you wanted some spine protection, maybe snap a couple of the panels out the back-plate.

Also, I was reading some on-line reviews about the brace, and there are a lot of mixed views about D2 shaped helmets working with the GPX brace, so I have decided to buy a THE helmet.

What happened to the carbon Leatt? Didn't realise you even had that one.

Ah, thought it was a carbon mtb one. The non-carbon one is probably lighter then!

This one still has a carbon backplate! :)
And it does feel lighter.
