Great site guys,

due to hving 4 children and a hectic life, getting out on my mtb is tricky i will endeveour to follow the chats and try to come along but was wondering if anybody had .gpx files of all the routes in and around chelmsford so if i can get out i can follow the flow once its plugged into my garmin edge.

i ride XC but would happpily evolve into the knarly stuff

You looking for specific route or for example, Chelmsford to Danbury ?, Ive got some of Danbury itself but they are so close together its a mess but also some between Chelmsford & Danbury, this is a nice ride with lots of cycle lanes, although I tend to go a slightl;y different route each time, this week I by chance ended up at the Great Baddow BMX/Pump Track :)

I can export this one to gpx > http://www.sports-tracker.com/#/workout ... iqrse305j0 although its a bit all over the place !

You won't need a guide for danbury just tip up and tag along with people as they hit the runs really easy to follow

Hi.

VW-surfbum's links might be more useful as they show longer XC routes, as you can see from my pic here, my GPS are just of the downhill runs at Danbury and I did lots so its messy !, all you need to know really is that they all start just off Copt Hill and you can also get to them from the Bicknacre car Park, where most people park

Ha..yeah..that does seem fast, Im certainly not the fastest DH rider so I suspect that that was on a road/hill on way back to Chelmsford.

I only got to about 47mph in Morzine (Blue Run -Les Linderat) and that was terrifying and way faster than anything at Danbury !

Just logged into Sports Tracker, that 44mph is wrong, the graph shows a max of about 26mph, must be a bug in it, looked at my other saved routes, they seem correct.
