Hi,

New to the site as I am working in Brentwood for at least the balance of this year and Thorndon is on my doorstep. Never ridden it and keen to see it and hook up for some midweek, or even lunchtime, rides!

I do XC and mainly enduros. D2D at Thetford is a pilgrimage and will be in the pairs this year. I also do Winter Series and MSG. Raced my first 24 back in July (24/12) down Plymouth way as a pair with my brother and had a blast as well as a result.

I live up in colchester and try to get out when I can but despite being tehre a few years only have a handful of routes. Hoping to find more. More often my mideweek rides are the road commute to and from Brentwood which is a good 40mile run each way.

I have an 8 yr old son who also takes part in MSG.

Looking forward to getting to know Thorndon and the guys on here!

Ian

You will need lights in there from about 20:00hrs onwards, its just too covered under the trees.
Dont trust Damo when he says Follow me!

I wont make it out tonight but maybe later in the week.

Cheers guys - will look to hook up on an evening ride with you either this week or next.

Might wander over there in my lunch tomorrow for an hour of daylight exploration. What are the ground conditions over there like at the moment?
