There were a lot of cyclists out today, I would imagine some of the walkers got fed up. They should walk through the boring footpath areas if you ask me, instead of along all the decent cycle routes.

I was out quite a bit earlier than you guys, so doubt I saw any of you, but did you guys mark your route with white marks?

I see those on the trail.. Think it was for some sponsored walk thing they had on today.. A load if tents up by the cafe area... Also loads of dog walkers out.

Right... so the ranger tells people to stick to the marked cycle routes, and then they organise a sponsored walk along those routes?

In general walkers and their dogs don't tend to give me too much trouble. Biggest problem I've had has been with joggers. I cycled up to the back of a couple of women today who were jogging along with their dog. One heard me coming, turned round briefly and said "Hi" but made no effort to give me room to pass. In the end I managed to squeeze past the dog, while the two women kept on nattering.

Thanks all for the ride today! had a great time; next ride I'll definately dig out a Hawaiian shirt to go with my sandals - wouldn't even consider it fancy dress!

Suprised the go pro is still working after that huge glimpse of my arse that it got - sorry about that; had no idea it was so bad! good job i was at the back most of the time!!
