Hello all,

I spent this Saturday at Epping Forest on a hire bike. I had a pretty decent day and found a good deal of the single track that people had mentioned to me. However, from videos that I've seen of other rides there is a bit more DH - but not much - and some really interesting technical bits that I was only glimpsing at the end of the day. 5 minutes here and there.

From anybody who has ridden at Epping, where is the best place to start out? I get the impression that starting out at the Forest Visitor's Centre is a good bet. I started at the NE of the woods. Still, it's the best I've found in London to date!

Thanks

If you start at high beach there is alot around there
if you're facing down the hill to your left you have a littl road with a sign saying wellington hill that has some small jumps on it
then to your right if you ad down the fire track when you get to the road crossing either side of that is some trails with jumps and berms over the road and along the fire road a bit further on the left hand side of the fire road is a large bump over that and towards the trees/holly bush is a large stepdown jump (its easier than it looks) then again further down the fire road again on the left is a very rooty open desent (its a hard climb back up)

then again from the high beach car park if you head down past the forstry centre follow the trail it will go over some steps and then through a small clearing you will get to a very busy road over that you have some single track off of the left which uses a small valley and oo the right is the bombholes which are fairly good fun if your creative with lines

thats all i can think that is worthy of note if your about again maybe i might be able to meet up
