Anyone keen for an Epping night ride this week (Thursday 20th September)?

Not sure if Northerns about but ill be riding so thought id get it up.

Its bone shakingly bumpy, fast and dry at the mo - get it while you can

Meet: Stubbles Car Park Car park is at the T-junction of Nursery Road and Connaught Avenue
Ride Time: 7.30pm (lights needed)
Ride Duration: Normally 1-1.5 hours
Pace: Happy to adjust the pace appropriately to suit whoever comes out.

Love to get out if I can, but I don't usually get home from work until about 7:15, so I wouldn't be able to get to the start until 8pm - which is a bummer!

If I can get away from work early then I'll try and get up there - don't wait though because even if I get away I still have to rely on 3 trains and a bus, s it's always hit & miss. (Woking to Waltham Abbey is a bitch of a journey)

Plus the meet carpark is the other side of Epping for me. But, enough excuses, if I can get there, I will.

Hi.. Do these night rides continue into winter or is Epping a boggy mess now?

Epping drains quite well if it has time - persistent rain turns it into a mudbath though.

Was just about ok in the north today.tomorrows rain could be the killer.

they do carry on through winter...... not as often however. It just so happens that the usual organisers me included are either injured, busy or out of the country!

No probs.. I'll keep an eye on here for next ride.. Enjoyed the first one while it was still relatively dry. On a positive site they'll be less or no mozzies now...
