Glad I din't go for the Hero2 not least because they've announced the 3! Which sounds awesome well the 2's awesome a little bit smaller but still the same shape... biggest thing for me in the end the Contour on paper is as good as the go pro just quite a bit cheaper and for what I suspected i was going to use it for its more than adequate... need to learb how to edit footage though! Anykne have software recommendations?

That's just an updated 2 though really isn't it the real 3 (the black) has a lot more going on... shame it's so ugly still...

The black looks very good with 1080 at 6fps
Think the whites a lower spec than the HD2 certainly on the stills side, wonder what the UK prices will be

Yeah, I think that you still need to pick up the correct mounts as an extra cost, but that's really cheap for an HD camera with Wi-Fi and access to the free iPhone app.
