I rode Epping once a few weeks ago in fine dry wearther. Was wondering how conditions look to be tomorrow. I don't mind a bit 'o slop, but as I'll be hiring a bike and on my own looking for singletrack, I'd rather it not be a mud fest.

Can anyone local give me a clue on conditons?

I bet it's muddy as hell. I'm not local and haven't ridden recently.

Thanks. I'm in London and we've gotten some bits of rain this week, but I can't tell how much that impacts Epping.

Anyone have some first hand info?

Mud is WICKED

It was muddt last week but it was fun as underneath the muddle was solid ground, I expect this week will be worse now the rain has had a chance to soak in the indersoil will be less solid. Come join us at 11am Bury Road car park, it's right outside CAhingford Station, should be a few people around and possibly me.

Decided not to go. But I'll be back and would like to ride with some others. I rode with a XC Herts ride the first time - and enjoyed it but would like to ride with some rads next.
