I need a second pair of shoes for my flat pedals, and unfortunately the MTB money box is kind of empty. What do you think of these, I know they won't probably last too long but I just need a second pair of shoes so that the other pair can dry a bit more between rides.

Thanks

What's Laser said too. I went to the one in Westfield on Sunday but it was so busy in there that I could not be bothered. I will go back to my local one this week. I would prefer one that are made of that plasticky material, much easier to wash off the mud (when it gets muddy ;) )
Thanks

I'm liking those FILA Hitops, especially the grey/green variant..

Don't think SportsDirect (which are only down the road from me by Saafend Airport) do them though..

I looked at other options in there a few weeks back but wasn't sure on grippiness of soles.

If you look at the sole of a 5ten you wouldn't think it would grip at all ! its wierd and probably more down to the compound rather than the pattern / depth ??

This reminds me..went to Purdeys Ind Estate the other day to visit shotblasting place and notice sports shop near entrance (cant recall name) that had lots of sports/surf/ski gear, had a quick browse and had some good cheap stuff, lots of Santa Cruz/old school skate t-shirts very cheap but didnt have any money on me.

Latest Dirt mag has a feature on these and the new smooth sole versions.

Yep, I looked on site and in store... You'd be amazed at the differences between all the sole designs..

That's why I need to see and feel a pair before buying..

Good shout Dude.. I think I may just do that :)

I remember saying to the guy the last time I was there how I was trying to find a pair that would grip well but not knowing if they actually would.
