Get great reviews on their own website, but anyone here used and recommend them? I can get 4 sets for the price of 1 Avid set - muchos cheapness!

I used them - no problems but they did come up very thick which made brake set up fiddly - since switched to some form bikefridge

off ebay and have been happy with performance :)

Early reports of SStar pads failing were down to an initial batch and haven't heard much bad about them for a while

Thanks, I thought I remembered reading something that put me off them a couple of years ago. I'll give them a try, if they're too thick I can return them within 45 days anyway.

No chance! If changing pads is going to take longer than 5 mins then the shop can do it. I do enough work at work!

Have the Saint pads and they seem fine, agree with Jon on them being a bit thick to start - but hey more pad for your money!

Very happy with the Avid ones I got - no fitting problems (with the first set at least) as described.

The Codes are tricky enough to get centred as it is and thats with worn down pads. This is gonna be fun..
