That's the "High Beech" Tea Hut - favored by (motor)bikers - didn't realise there was a meet there.

If you go out of that car park on Fairmead Road and turn left onto Cross Roads, then take the right fork after the width restriction, follow that road and you'll end up at the Kings Oak pub (on your right) - it's probably about a quarter of a mile. A lot of people use the car park and meet there and also across the grass from the pub is Karl's Tea Hut and there's always folks meeting up there before, during and after a ride.

@Bens - I'd like to join on Sunday but will have to confirm tomorrow as may not be able to make it.

Where and when should we meet?

Well I'm on train, running on time at moment :).

I got a 'Giant Yukon FX2' with a black 'Marzocchi' fork, I got a red coat, and yellow and black bag on.

I keep an eye out for you ninja.

Shame about Sunday!

It was ridiculously muddy in places, yet to clean my bike :(, hope to do it tomorrow. I in the end stuck to the 'horse trails' which were quite good, and went up to the 'Deer Sanctuary', which was pretty cool IMO. I didn't like riding home along the A roads in the dark down to Chingford, didn't have a good enough 'front light' for it.

Ben, how did you get on, I imagine it was infuriating trying to get home, what's going on with your bike? It was a very nice bike.

Jose, did you make the Chelsea-Liverpool game on time?

Thanks for the reply :),

We went past 'Fairmead Road' and there was a gathering of motor bikes, like you alluded too. We went up to "Karl's Tea Hunt" opp. the pub, where there was a lot of mountain bikers, and we failed to follow a team of them lol.
