Andy is right with the rules.

For National 4x races the main requirements are:

- Full Face
- No exposed bars (so bar ends)
- and at least one working brake.

I am sure the same rules will apply but I would advise a full face regardless just as if you have one on, there will be a smile underneath with a full set of teeth!!!

It will be the first time back on the bike for about 4 months, will be taking it easy, maybe next time.

What happened with the crash at the end of the day, that guy went down hard.

Out the gate we were level and he tried to muscle his way across me and i held my ground as he tried to push across mid air he landed off balance and went over the bars. He is ok though. He is a tough guy and was quite surprised as he is a quick Pro Elite too so a good confidence booster for me.

VW, racing was really good, they really kept it flowing with the moto's few technical difficulties in between Motos and Semi's but racing was close, lots of bar banging and close racing. The Team Identiti riders rode really well all day. Dan Bateson took the win, unbeaten all day, Jordan Lunn took 3rd and I took 1st in the B Final for 5th in the Pro Elite.

Really recommend people to give it a go no matter what your level it is a great day out and get your mates involved for a day of adrenaline and laughs!!

There will be another round of the Winter 4x at Chicksands soon (Date TBC) so will keep you guys posted!!!!
