Looks great Greg. Agree with Joel, could do with something on the back between the vents - big shed or number or something.

Thanks lads.
OK so here are the final stages of the helmet design. After confirming with Joel I've added a Bamsh Racing on the helmet under the peak and a shed on the back. Heres the mask and the finished logo.

Now Joel says he loves sheds so I've given him a s*** load lol. Here are a lot of stencils applied to the helmet ready for the special effect. :D

T special effect is a ghost image of the sheds. The sheds are applied and then a clear metallic paint is added over the top. When the stencils are removed they will not be metallic and will stand out slightly when viewed up close. You can just about see the difference but it will show more when clear coated.

Well that's about it. After 14 hours of masking, rubbing down, spraying, computer stencil designing, adding and removing stencils and even more spraying the helmet is now finished and ready for clear coating. The job doesn't finish there however as there will be some cutting and polishing after clearing for a nice and shiny lid, removing of the final masking and assembling the helmet ready to hand it over to Joel.
Well I hope you enjoyed the step by step and have seen how much work goes into painting a lid or a work of art and some of the tools I use.
If any body wants some custom painting done on helmets, frames, forks or whatever or want some stickers like I did for Noel and Stefan get in contact with me. Check out my web site at www.gw-designs.co.uk/home.

Thanks boys. Easy there Jon  .Try not to crash eh Joel, it's only paint not kevlar reinforcement lol. Maybe it will usher in a new era of not crashing and getting your riding totally dialled! Maybe Sir Dialledalot and not Sir Crashalot.
Now I think I may start on my own full face lids.
