You brave soul :D

Seen the weather forecast? It's set to absolutely tip it down... I'm going over on Sunday, planning on spending most of the day sliding around on my face, can't wait

I was at Chicksands today and everything is perfectly rideable, bottom of Bull Run slippery and soft patches with small puddles everywhere of course, but you're not going to get filthy or find puddles ruin your ride. Note that the flow line is closed though as the sharp right hand bend has been reshaped to have a small left before hand and then a jump into a much better berm- will be superb once bedded in and open.

Heading back tomorrow morning for another session!

Just got back from Chicksands, dried out almost completely since yesterday so dual slalom is perfect and super grippy round berms, four cross fine with only one puddle in the final dip easily avoided, Bull run and Snake run great and the pump track is as muddy and waterlogged as always! The new single teack is still pretty sloppy though, but more like real loamy trail conditions.

Definetly gonna go chicky soon!aston was pretty lethal.done the black a few times and although lethal got some good flow and really enjoyed that.done 423 once and that was enough, holding a lot more slop than the black run.s2a was very good at the top half, well drained and fast enough to fly off those first few small drops, but then you loose all your speed for the step ups but still worth doing the stairs and the drop.have fun chris!

Cheers for the update! What tyre choice would you recommend? Is it realistically worth switching from all-rounders to mud tyres, or are they both going to get completely clogged up in seconds anyway? Thanks!

Chris
