Looks like me and Clint aren't working tomorrow so going to go out on the trial bikes, Trying to keep it localish so prob go to Swinley Forest or Woburn Sands XC stuff (although we don't know the area at all) or maybe Surrey Hills depending what happens other the next few hours.

Anyone else up for it?

Alright.. Went surrey hills today. Some trails on Leith / redlands (near wolverns lane) are rideable but holmbury and pitch are one big slop fest some trails so bad I reckon it will be weeks of dry weather until its worth another visit..

Are the woburn woods near where the woburn jump/dh stuff are? Is it best to park up on the gerge for them or is there abetter place to start from?

Best place to park for the XC is where the blue dots are on this map - and also where you park for the jumps. Although saying that now the jump parking is down the road in the layby.

Do a few loops round the jumps as part of your XC route - wicked fun.

We ended up going to Woburn for some xc around the woods. Was real good, parked up by the jump area and headed into the woods near there, spent all day just exploring and found some cool singletrack wooded trials. Then finished off the day with a few of the mini dh runs in the jump area.

Day 2 of 2013 and I've been riding 100% of the year so far!
