Hi Guys,

Guys on Facebook wanted a weekend daytime ride so I've posted this there as well.

Hopefully we can get a half decent group together, it'll be the normal ride:

Set off from Bannatyne's Gym (RM16 6YJ), head through the Davey Down river way, up into Belhus & Belhus Country Park, then into Hornchurch Country Park, into Rainham Country Park, over Rainham Marsh to the Thames.

Follow the Thames to Purfleet through the RSPB sanctuary then along the sea wall (clearly not at the sea but not sure what a river wall would be called?). Under the QE2 bridge, past shit loads of graffiti and onto either Grays or hook a left back to the gym...

All told 20/25 miles.

This sounds immense.

Sure thing

It's not hard really, the ground is fairly flat and there's very little mud

Just about to say I couldn't do the 9th, but I can't do the 23rd either, :cry:

, I got tutorials in Chelmsford on both these dates from 10am to 12hr.

Hi all ,
I thought there was a ride on the 9th Feb as well ,but seems to have gone.
Is this ride still on.
Was planning to join in but will now change plans to a ride from Ingreborne valley hill to Hornchurch then to (Park ) Southend road - Chase -Beam river A1306 back to Albion pub. (Dog in tow ) 2 hours -2 .5 hrs roughly.
Nice and steady ride -muddy as you like or hard sufface options . Lots to see and bits to try.
Welcome to see and jion in . Good route to get fit on .
Anyway let me know and I will hang around in the car park at the Hill
