Im guessing the thinking behind this is that - the up and down movement puts the chain in position where it can be flicked off the inside or outside. The chain still gets into that position but doesn't derail due to the outer and inner ring stopping it. In the past...
when I ran no bash the chain would derail on the inside and outside
when I ran a outside bash it would never derail to the outside
thus I have to think that
running a inside and outside bash would stop it derailing all together?
You would of course still get a lot of chainslap
This plus a clutch der might be a good solution for those without ISIG tabs as ive always had bad luck with bb mounted BB mounted chain systems.
