I was out driving up the A1 last week and found a really well built jump spot, near the A1.

I had a walk around and cant see how it is private as there is no fencing or effort been made to hide them, so was wandering if anyone knows about them and if were cool to ride there.

Don't want to disclose the location too much just in case

A mate sent me a drop pin about these as he had spotted them from the a1 too.
Be good to have another play spot!

There are a few jump spots along the A1 and they are reasonably well known

Check that site for other good ghetto locations all over essex and herts and have a look at my post on it over here http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/any-othe ... t3841.html

There are three sets by the A1, they have been there and developed over years and still used. A certain WGC based 4x racer who frequents this forum is/was a regular there.

Looks right, though the bit at 2.30 over the tiny double is Marley Heath in Oaklands.

Theres 2 sets there. Upper ones have been left due to the constant abuse by the kids. Few of my mates are proper on the lower ones. They're going to be sweet. If anyone goes to ride please ask before, don't litter or abuse the jumps. Also wait till summer. My mates are quite protective over them

Totally understand, thats why I posted on here to find out about them. But who would I ask?! and there not exactly hidden from view either!

When you say there are "2 sets" is that in the same area, the upper ones were smaller and something i'd be happy to ride whereas the lower ones are huge! and dont think I would ever be doing them! Looked like they had recently been built too.

Need to look for Kier Hodge, a mutual friend of mine on facebook or Jake marshment.

Ask them and see what they say. The upper ones were the first ones we built but too many people found out about them and they guys I used to dig with grew up and got jobs, cars and women haha
