Hi another newbie here.
My names Neil im 30 and a stones throw from thorndon country park just recently stated riding over there after getting bugged every day from the guys at work about how amazing mountain biking is (i have to admit so far i think they may have been right).
I have been reading most threads on here gathering info about rides, set up and gear so i think im ready to start boring the lot of you with my questions lol

I look forward to meeting up with some of you soon on some local rides.

Neil

Hi Neil,
Lots of places to ride not far from you, Dont say when you can ride i.e night /evening w/ends or during the day.
I do shift work so can met you on various occassions. Would suggest you have aride out on the Wed evening if you can make it as the route gives a good idea of areas to ride.
If you have a other half - Lakeside is a good distraction whilst you spin your wheels.
Plus a eating/drinking place afterwoulds.
Have a good time and fill your boots(Full of water this time of year anyway).
Bob

Welcome dude.....

Every so often we organise "Beginners Rides" over Thorndon and other local locations, aimed at new riders trying out the dirty habit for the first time. Keep your eye out in the rides section when the weather gets a bit, errrr, healthier.
