Hello,
I am Marco and I have moved to London in the City - Barbican area.
I am Italian and I love XC and MTB Marathons. Since I am new in London, I would like to know new places to ride and meet new people to share my passion for mountain-biking.
I will buy in the next weeks a new bike. In the meantime, I would like to receive more information to start to know this new environment!
Thank you everybody for the support,
I hope to hear you soon news from you!

Marco

Trek Cobia 29er! It seems a good bike for my budget.

Nice looking bike - would it be your first 29er?

I only ask as I've a Rocky Mountain Element 930 and it's great for XC but the moment you are off the trails or it gets a bit skittish I want a 26"...

Yes, it will be my first 29er! I tried it yesterday, and I was impressed for the value of the bike. I will choose a front since I am not used to full-suspended bikes. In Italy I have a front 26er Lee Cougan Hurricane.

Well I love the RM but I know that come the summer I'll be investing in a 26". If I was buying right now then I would look at some of the great offers out there on the 26" 2011/2012 bikes - but as long as it has two wheels I'm sure you'll be happy!

Most of the time they will only let you take a bike on public transport if it is overland and during off peak hours.
the alternative is to disassemble it and pack it in a bag
