Oh what a ride :!: :!: :!:

Had a real blast out on my test ride this afternoon, the Norco Sight Killer-B 3 is a real gem of a machine.
Even just 30 mins biking round lakeside was fun.

Just going to test the Sight Killer-B 2 machine next week.

And make my choice

Soon be out on trails.

Trev.

They look like great bikes. Sounds like you had a blast on the B3. Hope the B2 is worth the extra cash.

If not, UPGRADES!! :D

I asked about these in Lakeside Evans a few weeks back with regards to testing one out with a friend who wants a new bike, only they limited testing to the immediate area  They do look the nutz and come out very favourably in the mag reviews. I have to say I'm amazed to discover someone on here had a mtb before me  ('88) but I'm impressed with your bike choice having been away for a while.

Hi all,

Yes cant wait for the next test ride

Back in the day........
I was riding round Langdon hills and one tree hill back when I was riding regularly.
Used to cycle to work (4 miles each way) everyday come rain or shine then, before passing my driving test & getting into cars

Would ride from home to Langdon Hills, about 5 or so miles, then all day MTBing and home again.
Realy enjoyed the early days of MTBing very few bikes around then.
I remember my Dad (who also cycled to work everyday) saying to me before I even bought my mountain bike "What do you want a mountain bike for there's no mountains in Essex!!!!!

See you on trail soon :high5:

Trev

When do you plan on testing again Trev? Also,as I only work 5mins away from Lakeside Evans do they now intend to keep the Norco you test on their shop floor as I'd like to have a go on it myself :shh: (the missus would kill me if she new) I'm actually contemplating turning my 146 into a 27"er but wanted to checkout how a 650b rolls & handles first.

Trev, have Evans called to confirm? I think I'll be finishing work 2pm at the latest tomorrow due to my workload being unusually light otherwise I could have carried on till 4 & then joined you for a wee blast. Anyway, let us know what you make of the bike, hope it goes well

Just to say thanks to you all for the replies.

Not been out yet (no lights on my bike yet)
Hoping to get out on Saturday even just a few miles round the village.
Plenty of bridleways around here some have had road planings put down to give a better surface in winter.

Give me a chance to get used to the Sight and its controls

Catch you lot later.

Trev. :high5:
